After 5 1/2 years....

I am pregnant and have made it to my eleventh week and had my second doctor's appointment today. It was so fun to be at the doctor's office and see the little baby bounce all around during the ultrasound. The baby is 2" long now and is measuring at 11 wks and 4 days. The due date is November 16th and that won't come soon enough for me.
It has been a long road for Scott and I and he has really been there for me. I have such a wonderful husband that has loved me and supported me through this whole crazy time. I have been very lucky and have had no morning sickness and no crazy cravings. Although I did pull the pregnancy card and asked Scott to go get me some ice cream after a long day at work. I have just been very tired and very hungry, I am hoping that gets a little bit better during my second trimester.

Let the fun begin..

So the dirt work has begun and we have a drive way. It is so fun to drive home from work because on my way I can stop by our house and see what has been done for the day. So each day is new and exciting.

New House...

Well we signed a contract and the builder will start our house in March. It is so nice to finally get to the point of building our house. I have been dreaming of this for 2 years now. It is going to be 2 stories but from the front it looks like one story and our garage is going to be on the bottom story. I can't wait to get into the house. I love my parents and am so grateful that they have been able to let us stay here and save money and become debt free but is time for Scott and I to get our own space.
Now comes the fun part to pick everything out. When you have a sister who is an interior designer and specialises in kitchens and bathrooms it makes it just fun to pick stuff out and not stressful. It also helps that I have a great husband who is very relaxed and lets me do what ever I want. His only request is that he gets an under mounted or molded sink in the master bathroom. I think that I can handle that especially since I get to pick everything else, we basically have the same tastes anyways.

Christmas...

Bringing up the lights..

Christmas breakfast, we only have this breakfast once a year and for good reason if you had it any more you would gain a lot of weight. But boy was it good. Scott's mom Pat was able to come visit us and join us for Christmas this year. I was so nice to have all of our family together.

New Christmas outfit, I don't get one from my mom anymore but it's tradition so I have to uphold the tradition. = )

Our new Christmas PJ's, another tradition that must be upheld even if I do have to buy them for myself.

Well I got a lot of great wonderful presents and enjoyed the time I got to spend with family this year. I hope that everyone had a great Christmas this year and remembered the true reason for Christmas. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Willing to try anything???

So if most of you know what Clomid is you know what it is used for. That's right fertility drugs, no I am not trying to have 6 babies at once I just want one baby. I have gone thru gastric bypass surgery and lost 97lbs; I am also now taking Clomid and am taking a natural supplement that I read about on a PCOS web site that should help. And now I am going to go to a Chiropractor to get adjusted because I heard that that might help also. The things that you will do just because it might help.

Now I still don't want 6 kids at once but going thru all this and waiting like I have I understand why it happens to some people. Basically you are only suppose to be on Clomid for 3 to 6 months before you go onto drugs that are injected. After that the next step is IVF, and that is when you sometimes get 6 babies. I know someone who went thru the IVF process and they had to take out a $20,000 loan. If you are going to spend that much money you kind of want to make sure that you get pregnant. So now you know why I want to try everything.

Let the games begin.

Clomid

Well I am taking the step and starting clomid. I have heard that some people have bad side effects from taking clomid. I never have side effects that the medication always warns you about, but I think that I have experienced some side effects. I have a co-worker who is a big pain in my butt, and I don't get along with her very much. Well she took it upon her self to let me know that I made some mistakes (in a not very nice way). I was so mad at her and wanted to just start crying, and I could not stop. I knew I was over reacting but I just could not stop. Oh the joys of being a woman.
