Willing to try anything???

So if most of you know what Clomid is you know what it is used for. That's right fertility drugs, no I am not trying to have 6 babies at once I just want one baby. I have gone thru gastric bypass surgery and lost 97lbs; I am also now taking Clomid and am taking a natural supplement that I read about on a PCOS web site that should help. And now I am going to go to a Chiropractor to get adjusted because I heard that that might help also. The things that you will do just because it might help.

Now I still don't want 6 kids at once but going thru all this and waiting like I have I understand why it happens to some people. Basically you are only suppose to be on Clomid for 3 to 6 months before you go onto drugs that are injected. After that the next step is IVF, and that is when you sometimes get 6 babies. I know someone who went thru the IVF process and they had to take out a $20,000 loan. If you are going to spend that much money you kind of want to make sure that you get pregnant. So now you know why I want to try everything.

Let the games begin.

Good Luck Heidi!! Nikki is going through the same thing. She has already done her rounds of Clomid though and is moving on to the hormone shots and the IVF. When I was out there in August, she made me come with her to the specialist for an appt that she had...let me tell you...being pregnant in a fertility clinic waiting room...not so much fun! So I don't know much about infertility, but if you need someone to talk to, I'm here or i am sure Nikki would be more than willing to discuss things with you!

BTW- Nikki said her doctor won't do IVF if she has released more than 3 eggs...that way she won't end up with 6 babies!!

Heidi,
Good for you. Clomid is a good way to go. It does make one a little more prone to emotions. We are doing the injections soon to the total of 900.00 bucks a month. Ouch! I wish you guys the best. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I would love to talk with you about it.
